أطلق المُغنّي والمؤلّف الموسيقيّ داني عريضي بالتعاون مع شركة "Universal Music MENA"، أغنيته المُنفردة الجديدة "Act Naturally" التي يطغى عليها نمط موسيقى البوب البديلة.
يجمع عنوان هذه الأغنية بين كلمتين مُتناقضتين، وهي تصف حالة شخصين يُولّد الإختلاف بينهما إنسجاماً أكبر.
وعن" Act Naturally" قال عريضي:"حاولت ألاّ يكون إستخدام التناقض وصور البلاغة في كلمات الأغنية على حساب المعاني التي تجسّدها. لذا، لجأت إلى أسلوب بسيط كي يُحافظ العمل على رسالته التي تتناول أكثر من موضوع كالحب وتقبّل الآخر والذات.
ومن المُلفت أنّ داني يتعاطى مع الموسيقى بأسلوب إنسانيّ يقترن بالإيجابيّة، ويُلهمنا من خلاله على تعزيز ثقتنا بأنفسنا والسعي دائماً إلى الأفضل . مع العلم أنّ عريضي ينقل في أغنيته الفكرة أنّ" "Act Naturally أيّ التصرّف على سجيّتنا خطوة صعبة، إلاّ أنّ أجواء الأغنية المرحة تدعو إلى التفاؤل من خلال التلاعب بالألفاظ والمعاني المزدوجة.
وقد تم طرح" "Act Naturallyعلى طريقة الـ Lyrics Video ، وأرفقت من خلاله كلمات الأغنية برسومات بسيطة بالأبيض والأسود تُجسّد رسالة العمل.

Danny Aridi latest track is an alternative pop song titled ‘Act Naturally’. An oxy-moron title and lyrics which depict two people who find comfort in each other’s differences.
“It was a challenge to create a song using contrasting words and oxymorons and still have it make sense and tell a powerful story. I didn’t want to sacrifice the message for the sake of creative writing, so I had to keep things simple at times to help convey the message.”
Beautiful sketches are drawn out in black and white to accompany a lyric video which also went live today. The animation is done minimally to help convey the story.
“There are many themes touched upon throughout the song. I think a lot of people can relate to feeling like an outcast sometimes which is then weighed up to the feeling of overcoming that and embracing being themselves. Another message in the song is the feeling of finding someone who you love and accepting them for who they are.”
Danny Aridi’s humanistic approach to music always inspires listeners to do more whether it is to take a well-deserved holiday, admitting to your foolish desires, or embracing who you are. In this single the artist admits to the difficult task of acting naturally especially once directed towards us. But the word play of the song allows us to relax, enjoy, and naturally interpret it the way we would like to.

Danny Aridi is a Canadian/Lebanese singer and songwriter, signed with Universal Music.
